Some areas of AS have a lock-in fee which provides their funding. All other AS groups get their funding through the annual Budget Process. They turn in a budget request and attend a budget hearing. The AS Finance and Business Committee makes their budget recommendation and then it goes to the AS President and finally the AS Senate.
OSL groups can request funding for their events from the Finance & Business Committee as well as other AS boards and committees.
OSL groups can also request $250 in funding if they are registered for the current year and previous year with OSL.
All funds allocated by AS are kept in AS accounts so that the expenditures can be monitored.
